Help Us Nurture Futures Rooted in Safety, Healing, & Justice

Every dollar you give nurtures a survivor, supports a family, and helps us train the next generation of doulas. Together, we’re building something sacred. You don’t have to do everything, but you can do something. Thank you for helping us build a world where survivors not only survive—but thrive!

YOUR IMPACT IN ACTION

Every contribution—no matter the size—helps sustain survivor-centered care, education, and community healing.

  • Supports:

    • Grounding and care supplies for a survivor (water, snacks, sensory tools, comfort items)

    • Printing and distribution of survivor-safe education materials and zines

    • Transportation assistance for a prenatal, postpartum, or support appointment

Small moments of care can make a big difference during vulnerable times.

  • Supports:

    • One trauma-informed 1:1 emotional support check-in

    • Sliding-scale access to a Bread & Butter education workshop

    • Childcare coverage during a support session or group

This level helps remove immediate barriers to showing up for care.

  • Supports:

    • A postpartum or pregnancy support visit at a reduced or no cost

    • Crisis-informed advocacy during a moment of overwhelm or escalation

    • Care coordination and resource navigation for a survivor with complex needs

This helps ensure survivors aren’t navigating alone when it matters most.

  • Supports:

    • On-call and backup doula coverage so clients have reliable support

    • Partial sponsorship for full-spectrum doula care

    • Training and supervision that keeps our care trauma-informed and ethical

This level helps sustain both survivors and the people supporting them.

  • Supports:

    • Full sponsorship of a Bread & Butter or Nurture & Knead program participant

    • Emergency care needs (recovery supplies, transportation, meals)

    • Survivor-centered safety planning and follow-up support

This level provides continuity—not just one-time support.

  • Supports:

    • Significant subsidization of birth, postpartum, abortion, or loss support

    • Fair compensation for doulas, educators, and advocates

    • Expansion of accessible programming and materials

This helps us offer care without rushing, cutting corners, or burning people out.

  • Supports:

    • Sustained, holistic care for multiple survivors

    • Program development and ethical infrastructure

    • Long-term community healing initiatives and storytelling projects

    • Emergency response capacity during high-need periods

This level invests in the long view—care that lasts beyond a single moment.

  • Monthly donations help us:

    • Plan ethically and sustainably

    • Keep sliding-scale care available year-round

    • Maintain on-call and crisis support without relying on urgency

    • Protect staff from burnout so care stays grounded and present

Even $15–$30/month creates steady, reliable support for survivors.

“We built Sweet Cheeks Doulas, because nobody saved us—so we became the ones who could. Your gift helps us do that for someone else. This is legacy work. And we’re just getting started.”

—Aladreana Cheeks, Founder & Executive Director

HOW WE USE DONATIONS

Sweet Cheeks Doulas is a survivor-centered organization rooted in trust, transparency, and accountability. Donations help sustain:

  • Direct survivor support (birth, postpartum, abortion, and advocacy care)

  • Emergency needs (food, transportation, safety planning, and referrals)

  • Community education programs like Bread & Butter

  • Doula training and professional development

  • Operational infrastructure that allows us to move slowly, ethically, and with care

We do not believe in extractive care models. Your gift supports people, not performance metrics.

OTHER WAYS TO SUPPORT

There are many ways to support our work beyond a financial contribution. You can support SCD through:

  • Volunteering (community support, events, and care coordination)

  • In-kind donations

  • Corporate or organizational partnerships

  • Hosting a community fundraiser (toolkit coming soon)

Sweet Cheeks Doulas is currently operating in a phased-care model, meaning we are growing intentionally to ensure ethical, sustainable support for survivors and staff. Your donations help us expand responsibly—without sacrificing care quality or safety.
